What should I do before my appointment?

Remove all makeup and clean your lashes with an oil-free cleanser or baby shampoo. Do not use any oil-based makeup remover.

Do not use any mascara.

Do not curl eyelashes. Straight ones work better.

If you wear contact lenses, please remove them prior to treatment.
Lash Extension After Care
Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours
Avoid swimming, saunas & steam rooms for the first 48 hours
Avoid ALL oil based products
Clean your lashes with an oil free cleanser
NO waterproof mascara
Do not use an eyelash curler as it can damage the extensions as well as your natural lashes
Try & sleep without your lashes being squished on your pillow
Be sure to book your 2-3 week fill at the end of your appointment to maintain your gorgeous lashes!

What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are a popular new product that lengthens and thickens your own natural lashes. They are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural lash. They are applied to each individual eyelash with a specially designed bonding agent for a natural, beautiful and luscious look. Eyelash Extensions are perfect for that special occasion or for day-to-day wear. They are virtually weightless and will not damage your natural lash so you can choose to wear them permanently.
Will the application be harmful to my natural lashes?
Not at all! Our eyelash extensions are applied on your own natural eyelashes one by one (without touching the skin) with a specially designed bonding agent developed exclusively for eyelash extensions. This new technique is not harmful to your natural eyelashes. The adhesive dries very soft on lashes allowing flexibility and comfort.
What do eyelash extensions look like when applied?
With proper application, meaning one faux mink eyelash extension applied to one natural lash, the look and feel is completely natural looking and real. No one will know you have extensions. They will just think you were born with beautiful, long and luxurious lashes!
How long will a set of eyelash extensions last?
When applied properly, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Everyone's experience will differ based on day to day activities but over all touch ups should only be required every 2 to 3 weeks.
How often should I get a fill?
We recommend getting a fill every 2 to 3 weeks. If you wait too long your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set. A fill averages about 1 hour or longer depending on how many lashes need to be replaced.
Can I apply mascara to eyelash extensions?
Yes, even though mascara is not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara, it can be worn. It must however only be a water-based mascara. *Ask me about mascara designed for eyelash extensions only. I will have some available to purchase after your appointment.
Can I swim, shower, exercise or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?
Yes. The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc. Special care is required, but overall maintenance is low. We do recommend however that you do not wash your eye area for approximately 24 hours after the eyelash application.
Can I use eyelash curlers with eyelash extensions?
We do not recommend using mechanical eyelash curlers on your eyelash extensions as these curlers will damage the extensions and possibly your own natural lashes. The extensions do have a natural curl so most people find they don't need to curl them further.
Is the product FDA approved? Is it safe?
Currently the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free and very relaxing however, improper application by an unqualified eyelash technician can cause damage to your natural lashes. We recommend only using a certified eyelash extension specialist.
How long will it take to apply eyelash extensions?
The application process for lash extensions normally takes 2 hours with an experienced technician. You will lay comfortably on a memory foam heated massage table, with soft fluffy blankets with your eyes closed. The lash artist will then apply an under eye gel pad to cover your lower lashes. The extensions will then be applied to each individual eyelash with a specially designed bonding agent.
How do I choose the look I want?
Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths and thicknesses. We consult with you first to see what type of style you are interested in and we also determine what your lashes can hold in regards to length and size. Each person's lashes will vary so we take this into consideration when creating a look for you. The overall goal is for the lashes to look glamorous but natural.
